Just Making It

Well it has been over a month since my last post not because I have been sick but I have been busy. I have been really tired and my legs hurt alot but I am still making it. There has been another school shooting so it could be worse I have a 7 year old daughter too. I do not know if it is the medication but I have been really tired lately.

Interesting Couple of Weeks

Well the last couple of weeks has been interesting to say the least. No trips to the hospital or anything but mainly on the car. The Land Rover is no more so the search for a new car is on. The pain through my body is increasing. I kind of think it is a mind thing. I seem to do better when I have something to do like going to work. On the weekend I seem to do worst. Today I am really sore all over. I take Percocet and muscle relaxers daily so maybe it kick in.

Wild couple of weeks

Well it has been a while but not without reason. First my middle finger on my right hand started hurting then the pain went to the center of my palm. It felt like the spot was dead but hurt when I touched it. The pain went to other hand the same way so I went to the neurologist. I had another MRI done but it did not show any different that the last. I did not realize what he was looking for until after it was done but he was looking for infection in my neck. Usually when that happens to you paralyzes follows. But I am not paralyzed and the pain is gone so that is a good thing. Other than that I am doing OK.

A tumbling we will go

Well I fell down the stairs in my townhouse again. I did not get hurt except for bruising my shoulder. Jayla has started school and my series of doctors appointments has begin again. I had root tips taken out when I went to the dentist last week. This week I go to the eye doctor again today and the neurologist on Friday.

Another Fall

Well I was coming down the stairs to get ready for work trying to be quiet when I fell down the steps. I don't know if my legs gave out or a missed a step. Anyway everything seems OK just embarrassed that is all. I need my pills for the ms but I have to pay an old bill before I can get them. Things are not that great but I will deal with ups and downs as they come.

My Life

Well I am doing fine still working. My legs get really sore sometimes I think I will fall down the stairs but I don't. I have to make an appointment to see my neurologist I missed my last one and haven't seen him since I have been on the pill. Jayson is becoming his own little man and Jayla is doing good. Ultra holds us down and I do my part by working hard.

Post Shot Success

So it is close to 2 months since I have been on the pills. I would say it is a success. My legs have been sore but they might have been sore anyway. I had mail that I though was associated with my website technologybar.com I opened one and it was from the MS society inviting me to discussions and a free dinner at the longhorn steakhouse. I think I will open up more of the mail. But everything is good my daughter already took her trip and now the family is getting ready for their New York trip.

Doing Fine

Well I have been off of the shots for about 3 weeks so far it has been good. I have not had experiences with my heart rate so that has been good. School is out so my daughter is home trying to go to grandmas for a while. No symptoms except for tiredness but I don't miss the shots.

Shot Free

I finally got put on the pill instead of the shot. So we will see how that treatment goes. My heart rate is low naturally it runs around 52 and the pill drops your rate but it has not been a problem so far. I participated in my first MS Walk I did not do much walking but it had free food and drink so we had a good time they had things to do for the kids.

Changes

Well I am getting tested to move to the pill instead of the shot. Although it is not as good as the shot as far as being fully tested the infections can not continue. I am diabetic also so infections are not as good for me. I am officially old they switched me to bifocals. The soreness is back today so movement is a little slow going.

Still batteling infections

Well now that both arms have been infected it looks like it is my stomachs turn. It looks like I am going to have to come off of the shots. In better news I got Jayson's hair cut yesterday so my little man looks straight now for his gear.

Fighting Infections

It has been a minute but i am fighting infections on my arms. First it was my right arm now it is my left arm. The nurse said I was using the injector wrong. I had it set on level one when it should have been set on level 3. Also i was using ice packs causing the skin to break where I inject. Now I am using warm compresses and have the injector set to level 3. Apparently with the injector set on 1 the shots were not going in deep enough and the medicine was just sitting on my skin and eating through it. The MS nurses are great and I appreciate them the nurse seems to really care and is very helpful. My nurses name is Rebecca I hope to find another one in NY when I move there sometime in the next year or 2.

Infection of the arm

My shot from two weeks ago is infected behind my right arm. I got some antibiotics can't wait for them to start working until then more hydrocodone please.

A New Year

Well a lot has happened since the last post. I have moved but have had no attacks. With that being said my decision making is not the best so I had to hand the finances off to the wife. A hard decision because I believe if you are the one working you should be the one to handle the money but I almost put us in the dog house because of pride. Pain is a little better but I have a spot on arm where I took a shot two weeks ago that will not heal. So it will not be so long before the next post.
