Still Going

I have not posted lately which is a good thing. I started only posting when I have a bad reaction or dx appointments. Speaking of dx appointments I have to get three wisdom teeth extracted. The hold up is the $700 dollar copay. I started checking my blood levels more often it is a little higher than it usually reads but still is 135 which is good but I am going to try and bring it down a little. I am not sore as much but after a day of work my legs are aching by the end of the day.

Dentist Alert

Well I am doing better I think. Still sore but moving went to the dentist to start a series of work. They will start with 3 extractions and then go to the wisdom teeth. The dentist said 1 of my wisdom teeth is sitting in there sideways. Next week starts all the fun.

Sore Throat

Well I have not being doing great every since the vaccine I took. I had the shot last Friday and I could not get out of bed until late Saturday. Since my throat has been hurting when I swallow. I called the neurologist because he always ask me if I was having trouble swallowing but he is out of town at a conference and the doctor on call told me to see my regular doctor. I have been able to eat today for the first time in a couple of days so it is getting better. They said maybe it is a reaction to the vaccination. I am glad you only have to have the vaccine maybe two times in a lifetime I will not have to take another until I am 65 years old.

Still hanging in there

Well its been a long time. I have moved now I have a nice house where everything works. I have had a couple episodes especially after a pneumonia shot. They said I would be a little sore but i could not get out of bed until about 2:00pm. I am still working so that is good. My daughter has started school again and my son is growing up.

Feeling OK

I just finished moving so you that was fun. I moved the furniture while the family was on vacation. I have 2 weeks full of dx appointments including another MRI. Did my first set of blood test today MRI tomorrow. Still recovering from the move this weekend but when the family gets back it will be worth it.

Summer Vacation for some

Well it is in the middle of the dogs days of summer. I am preparing to move to a new house while the family visits family in New York. I have been feeling good. Just a little tired and pains through my fingers and legs. But I am getting used to it. Medicine has not ran out so I guess I am doing good. I will try to post a little more often but this new position keeps me busy.

Getting By

Well it has been about a month since the last post. Every thing was going good until the other night I had a low blood sugar moment where I almost passed out. The funny thing is I was eating ice cream or about to I made the bowl but almost collapse before I could eat it. I am trying to move so stress levels are high and my fingers keep hurting. The job is really taking a toll on me but what can you do.

Keeping on.

Well it has been a while since the last post. Nothing much as changed. Still the shots are painful but I have to keep taking them. Medicines are up to date and refills are on order. I am getting more tired than usual but no big deal.

Painful Injections

It probably has been close to three weeks since my medicine switched pharmacies. They say the needles are the same size but I have not had a good injection since the switch was made. Most of the time I end up pulling the needle out and injecting on my skin. My knee hurt so bad last night I could barely walk but was fine this morning. I can't do anything but keep trying.

On Call Week

Well I am on call this week but it was not a tough week. I had only 4 calls this week that were not during business hours but we will see how this weekend goes. I am feeling OK got my meds up to date. I have been a little sore but hydrocodone usually loosens me up.

Up and Down

Well I had a little setback today. At first a day like no any other day then I start getting a pain running up my ring finger on my left hand. In about 15 min my arm started feeling numb. My feeling in arm is back although I still have that pain in my finger. I am on call next week so I don't need any problems.

Doing Fine

Well I got all my meds and back on track with my shots. Settling in on new job although some haters will always try to keep you down. Legs a little stiff but other than that everything is good.

No Shots

Well it has been 2 weeks and I still don't have any shots. Hope they were not that important Insurance has been approved but haven't heard from medco. Otherwise I am doing ok getting settled in to my new position at work.

The gift and the curse

Well interesting enough I get the new job with better benfits and they tried to deny me because of pre-existing conditions. So I checked on it because I have had insurance for the last 6 years. So they said they didn't have proof that I had insurance. Simple enough I just verify I had insurance. They said it was another problem my previous employee had not terminated my policy. So they removed the pre-existing conditions but I had double coverage and there policy could not termainate until the 1st of the month. Problem is I have two shots left. Do I order the shots under my old policy or use the card. Where I was getting my shots is specific for my old insurance company and do not take my new insurance. The doctor is trying to find me a new place to get the prescription but I have not heard anything. So do I order the shots under my old insurance knowing that I don't work at the place anymore.

Feeling OK

Well I have been at my new job for a week now but still haven't left my old position. I have to do two jobs until a replacement for my old position is filled. I have been feeling ok with no signs of remission right now. Still a little sore and move a little slower but it is ok.

Starting New Job

Well I am starting a new job Monday. Same company but different position. I have been ok but the shots are going in a lot of muscle instead of fat. Lost about 10 more pounds now I am under 200 for the first time since freshman year of college. I just keep taking medicine and keep it moving.

Doing Better

I went to the doctor yesterday I am doing fine. They want me take another MRI by August sounds good only I have not finished paying for the last MRI. I took my son Jayson to get his first haircut over the weekend and it went well. I am little less sore these days but I am so many meds I am probably just to out of it to notice. I should get another set of shots tomorrow. Well let me get back to work so I can configure out how to pay for this MRI.

Very confused today

Well I am at work but I do not feel exactly right. My eyes are feeling funny and my balance is a little off. I have the chills even though today it is now that cold. But I continue to work so that is a good thing. Maybe when I get off some medicine and rest will do me good. Got through Jayls's birthday yesterday she had a little party at school and got a MP3 player and digital camera with the normal dress up like a princess gear. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Feeling Good

I am feeling ok lately. I finally am getting my jeep fixed so I can get back on the highway for travel. I got some pain medicine that seems to work for me so that is good. I get pain in my legs alot but it happens at night mostly. I think it is just being tired from being up all day. Hopefully I am entering remesion so maybe that will last for a while. I got my blood work for my diabetes and my A1C was 6.2 so that was good. My cholesterol numbers were ok but I am not producing enough good cholesterol so I am going to have to keep an eye on that. Otherwise I am doing ok.

Possible Nerve Damage

Well I was at work at my middle finger on my right hand straighten also like a stroke but I pulled it and it started back bending again. This is similar to what my leg did last week. I guess this is something I need to get used to. I ordered more shots they should be here Tuesday of next week because of the weather. Other than that it is business as usual.

Making It

That is the way I am feeling these days. Sometimes I feel as if I am just making it but other times I feel normal. This is one of the just making it days. I am not so much sore but my legs don't want to work right. If I walk with a limp I can walk but my legs have a mind of their own. The other day they just locked up and I can't help but wonder when that happens is that it then I press on and later it is fine. My doctors want me to take disability but I can't afford the pay cut right now. It is funny when I talk with new pharmacist and they ask how many times I have been hospitalized this year and I say none they act surprised. That may be why my legs are acting funny maybe I just expect something to happen. Tomorrow is another day hopefully a better one.

Happy New Year

I know it is a little late. Hopefully 2011 will be a better year than 2010. I got a lot of answers about my health in 2010 but none of was good. I though it was good thing I have been losing weight but it probably was my body getting ready to go through transformations for MS. But the kids seem happy so that is all that really matters.
